Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how 7thChord Projects ("we", "us") handles information in connection with the Tables for Fencing and Tables for Fencing Lite iOS applications ("the App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy is straightforward because the App collects no personal data.
Information We Do Not Collect
The App does not collect, store, or transmit:
- Personal identification information (name, email address, phone number, etc.)
- Location data
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Usage analytics or crash reporting data
- Any data to external servers, databases, or third-party services
Data You Enter in the App
The App allows you to enter fencer names, scores, and competition results. This information is:
- Stored locally on your device only, using Apple's SwiftData framework
- Never transmitted to 7thChord Projects or any third party
- Removed from the device when you delete the App
Exported files (Plain Text, PDF, CSV, JSON) are generated on your device and shared only when you explicitly choose to share them using iOS's standard share sheet. We have no access to these files.
Imported Files
Tables for Fencing can import fencer standings from files exported by the Pools app (CSV or JSON format). These files are read locally on your device and are not transmitted externally. We do not retain copies of imported files.
Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services. No SDKs from third parties are included in the App that collect or transmit data.
Apple Platform Services
The App is distributed through the Apple App Store and runs on Apple devices. Apple may collect certain data as part of its standard platform services (such as App Store analytics and crash logs if you have opted in to sharing diagnostics with developers). This data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, not this policy.
Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because the App collects no personal data at all, it is safe for use by people of all ages in a supervised competitive environment.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and update the policy on this website. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
