Overview

Pools ("the App") is developed and maintained by Glenn Samson. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information.

Data Collection

Pools does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. The App does not connect to the internet, does not use analytics services, and does not include advertising of any kind.

Data Storage

All data entered into the App — including fencer names, bout scores, and pool results — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export and share it using the built-in export feature.

Exported Data

When you use the export feature, the App generates a Plain Text, PDF, CSV, or JSON summary of pool results. This data is shared only through Apple's standard share sheet, and only to destinations you explicitly choose. The App has no visibility into where you send exported data.

iCloud and Third-Party Storage

The App supports importing fencer name lists from files stored in iCloud Drive or other Files-compatible services such as OneDrive. The App reads these files only at the moment of import and does not store, transmit, or retain any connection to these services.

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated date at the top of this document.
